The cotton fabric of this table cloth is coated with a thin acrylic coating applied to the surface on one side of the table cloth that makes it resistant to spills and stains and very easy to wipe clean with a sponge and a mild cleaning agent. No need to wash it in the machine! Just wipe it off and you are done!

Jacquard means the design is incorporated in the woven, instead of being dyed. Cotton coated means there is an acrylic film on the top of the cotton fabric.

CARE:
It is machine washable ( I recommend cold water) but there is no need for that: As the fabric is coated you just need to wipe it off with a clean sponge and mild detergent and YOU ARE DONE!
